75+ volunteer musicians bringing live concert band music to St. Pete since 1975
The St. Petersburg Community Band was founded on January 15, 1975, and we’re still going strong. We’re a registered non-profit organization of 75+ volunteer musicians of all ages playing a wide variety of music — from Blues to Big Band, Classical to Sousa, and everything in between.
We perform approximately 10-15 concerts per year, bringing the joy of live music to causes close to our hearts — including the Special Olympics, Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital, the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, and the City of St. Petersburg Christmas Tree Lighting.
