The St. Petersburg Community Band was founded on January 15, 1975, and we’re still going strong. We’re a registered non-profit organization of 75+ volunteer musicians of all ages playing a wide variety of music — from Blues to Big Band, Classical to Sousa, and everything in between.
We perform 10 to 15 concerts a year bringing the joy of music to audiences in private and public venues in the South Pinellas region. In the past we have played at many places throughout the region including Retirement Communities, the Special Olympics, Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital, the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, and the City of St. Petersburg Christmas Tree Lighting.
